Dear all,

May i know what is the suitable filter for fries tank,adult tank and show tank?.I want to improved my system in guppy keeping.thanks.

for fries tank - bio foam

for adult tank - *varies on the size of the tank.
+if tank is 1 ft only, suggest using biofoam filter.
+if tank is above 1 ft can try mini power filters.

show tank - *also varies on size of tank.
+same as above.

i do have a guide to tweaking your mini power filters into a biological filter. will post the guide later on

best filter i suggest sponge filter..cheap and good..for fries..the 1st week i think dun need any filtration..

Yea, sponge filters are generally the best. However, for adult tank, there are many options depending on the size of your tank, if it is a planted tank, your preference, time and money!!!

My guppies tank use sponge filter. Better u know. becuz guppies lurved this type of environment. Sponge filter comes in many sizes. Make sure the right one for ur tank. If ur not interested in breeding guppies, well, a hang on tank will suffice. also they come in many sizes. Make sure the right one for ur guppy tank.
