Common guppy disease.

'Prevention is better than cure' .But sometime we can't stop them from being attack with bacteria,fungus,virus and etc.
Q's,
What is the most common disease associated in guppy?.
How to treated if this disease out break?.

guppy disease are mainly cause by few problems

-temperature problem.(lower than 25 degrees)

-ammonia/nitrate/nitrite poison

-chlorine/chloramine poison

-sick fish bought from lfs introduce to community.

basic started kit for a guppy novice.

Tank requirements
- 1 qurantine tank
- 2 normal tank
- 1 breeding tank
- 1 mutlti purpose tank
- 1 bbs hatching tank or bottle.

Medification requirements
-aquarium salts/ non iodized salts
-yellow medicine & blue medicine.(direct translate from chinese)

food
-one bottle of bbs eggs
-flake food
-pellet food

What will happen when the tempreture drop lower than 25 degree?.
my aquarium salt is 'interpet' tonic salt .it that the correct non iodized salt?.

The best prevention is to change water often. I change about 10-20% daily, and up to 50% every other week. Have kept fishes for 8 years, and hardly any died due to diseases over the last 6 years!!!

Concept is, good water condition = less stress = good health = strong NATURAL defense against disease.
